It will be about three miles and very easy (no nasty hills!) Rosemary and I will be at Toddington Village Hall until 9.30 to give anyone a lift who needs one. We will then all meet at the Ashridge obelisk at about 10.10 and after the walk there will be coffee at the N.T. cafe. Looking forward to seeing you on 30th.-

Priory Park / Danish Camp, WillingtonPark at Priory Country Park, Visitors Centre, Barkers Lane, Bedford, MK41 9DJ Start at 10.30 amWe will take a riverside walk, via Castle Mill Lock, where we will stop for a short coffee break. Then onto Danish Camp where we can have lunch in the very nice café overlooking the River Ouse. Menus attached. We will get your choices on the day prior to starting the walk or preferably, to save time on the day, let Sue know beforehand of your choiceUnfortunately you can’t eat your own food at the Danish Camp, but it is fine to just have coffee/tea in the café and find somewhere along the way to have your picnic.We will return along the cycle track to Priory Park. Lodge Lake/Loughton. About 3½ miles, 1½+ hours. All on hard surfaces.
Meet at 10.30 at Lodge Lake CP, Bradwell Road, Milton Keynes. Bradwell Road is off the H4 (Dansteed Way) and is signed to the National Badminton Centre. The Car Park is on right just before you get to Badminton Centre on the opposite side of the road. (Badminton Centre Postcode: MK8 9LA.) If you come along the A5 dual carriage way, take the exit signed to National Badminton Centre and follow the shuttlecock signs. The car park is small’ish, therefore car sharing recommended. Please arrange lifts amongst yourselves. Walk start 9.45.am
Walk starts off round the small lake to Loughton Valley Park and on to the ancient village of Loughton, then passes the equestrian centre. There are pretty views across the fields to the City centre.

This walk will commence at the lay-by car park between Woburn & Woburn Sands on the left hand side coming from Woburn (1.25 miles from Woburn) at 10.00 am
This car park sometimes gets a lot of off-road cyclists so car share if possible & park off the road on the parking area
There will be a coffee stop but no lunch stop
The distance is 4 miles but could be extended if we get a nice warm sunny day

Well here it is, the first Sunday afternoon short walk.
Blows Downs, Dunstable. 3.5 mile walk on the lower levels of the Downs.
Some great views on a clear day.
Meet 1.30 pm outside NEXT on the White Lion Retail Park, Boscombe Rd, Dunstable. Postcode LU5 4WL.
An early start will mean we finish in time for an afternoon cuppa at Priory View.

Cathy and Neil Tabor will be leading the walk before lunch. Approx. five miles. Park in the Club car park and be ready to start the walk at 9.45 am.

From the middle of Ampthill, take the B530 towards Bedford. In 2.2 miles turn left (signed Stewartby). Go under the railway bridge, straight over the first round-about and just before the second round-about turn right into the car park. You will see The Kiln sign high on the building which is behind the Stewartby shop. (Please do not park at The Kiln if you are not planning to have lunch there. There is a small car park to the right of the shop or parking on the roadside.)
We need to pre-order food before we start walking. We will have a separate, huge, indoor dining area at the Café to ourselves.The walk will be through part of the Forest Centre to Millbrook Station and then, after a road walk, we will head across fields with expansive views of the Covanta Incinerator, returning to Stewartby via several tunnels under the two railways.
Proceed southwards down the M1. Leave at Junction 10 and travel along the Spur Road. Keep in the left hand lane and leave at the first run off.
At the round-about, go straight ahead along London Road towards Luton Town Centre. At the first traffic lights turn left towards Stockwood Park Golf Centre.Follow the road round to the right, then keep to the right. The road ends at the Car Park. There is no charge.
There are a couple of steeper climbs but there are no stiles and if it’s a nice day, there should be some lovely views of course.
This walk will be Apsley Heath/Bow Brickhill and be about 6 miles in length
