!6 walkers started from the village car park in Woburn, We walked into the park, past the stables & ponds, then through the works being carried out by the abbey & gardens.
The trees were looking great in their autumn foliage. We followed the Greensand Ridge Walk to leave the park just outside Eversholt. We met Anna who was working at the church & she joined us for the reminder of the walk. however we stopped for a coffee break at the cricket field. On restarting the walk we soon stopped for a group photo,
We then continued up Hill End & Froxfield where we saw Hilary's car parked outside someone's house. We entered the park & climbed to Stump Cross where we had a wonderful view of the park
We then continued downhill to join out original track past the stables and hence to the car park,
