Beryl and Sue led a most enjoyable leisurely Saturday stroll at Stewartby village. Meeting at 10am at The Kiln
We were joined by Penny Anna Sue Jill Tracy Jill Vi Joan for a short walk around the village ,originally built for the workers of the London Brick Company, looking at the homes and the beautiful well-manicured areas and gardens.
We enjoyed our coffee stop in The Stewartby Memorial Hall, built in memory of the villagers who lost their lives in World war 1 where there was a Model Railway Exhibition with tea and coffee and a chance to talk with residents about the village.

8 members then enjoyed a leisurely flat stroll approximately 3 miles around Stewartby lake with views of the old clay pits. We also walked through a wetland area where we heard several varieties of wildlife.
We arrived back at The Kiln and decided to enjoy our lunch outside in the sunshine on the benches.
We had such a lovely day no one was in a hurry to go.
Thank you ladies for joining Beryl and myself.
