Fourteen ramblers set off from the car park in Park St, making our way through the village on towards Leighton St.
Carrying on through the derelict estate farm buildings, then climbing up the incline on past the reservoir where a water stop was taken.
Walking on through Old Wavendon Heath, which was quite boggy in places,
we stopped at the picnic area for more refreshments.
We left the picnic table before carrying on
along Sandy Lame for our lunch stop in the Fir Tree. Margaret, Bill & Hilda joined us for lunch, whilst Anna joined us for lunch & the walk back to Woburn.
Leaving the Fir Tree we entered Aspley Wood, where the gorse trees were all a stunning yellow.
Crossing Aspley Lane and on towards Birchmoor Green.
We were now heading back through Woburn and back to the cars for the end of a very enjoyable walk on what turned out to be a nice bright sunny day,
